Templates for Bronc Halter Nosebands

These sturdy 3D printed templates are a great help in making bronc halter nosebands.

Two sizes are available:

Regular: 15 1/2" (39.5cm) long and 4" (10cm) top to bottom at the widest spot. With the tabs folded over the noseband will be about 11 1/2" from ring to ring.

Pony: 14 1/2" (37cm) long and 3" (7.5cm) top to bottom at the widest spot. With the tabs folded over the noseband will be about 10 1/2" from ring to ring.

Use a scratch awl to transfer the outlines to leather. The elements on the inside can either be used for tooling design layout or for inlay cutouts (see snake skin inlay on scalloped sample). If the diagonal name is not desired on the oval template, simply flip the template over to complete the inner oval without the diagonal element. The actual nosebands pictured are for display and inspiration only, not for sale.

The set includes one of each of the four templates.
